Flying 1982-1992

I took flying lessons in 1975 but never completed the course. I renewed my flying lessons in 1982 and finished my pilot's license and night rating.I grew tired of renting and in 1984, I bought a Piper warrior, a 4 seater. In 1985, along with 3 partners, I bought a 1978 Piper lance II ( PA32R-300T ) C-FCZM. I flew it extensively along the eastern seaboard from Halifax toSt. Petersburg with repeated trips to New York and Washington DC. After repeated delays due to weather, I got my instrument rating  ( IFR ). In the late 1980s, I flew repeatedly to Huronia airport in Midland Ontario to access a Carver 28 feet aft cabin boat that I kept at Wye Heritage Marina now called Doral. It was probably the most memorial part of our lives as we enjoyed bowed the flying and the boating in what we consider to be the loveliest part of the world to boat in.We say that with some authority, as we have sailed all the main waterways of North America, the Gulf of Mexico and most of the Caribbeans and sailed the Mediterranean,  the Greek islands and many canals and rivers of Europe. We also had 2 other planes that we flew briefly and we sold later.
